  1. “I think the dubstep that has come over to the US, and certain producers - who I can't even be bothered naming - have definitely hit upon a sort of frat-boy market where there's this macho-ism being reflected in the sounds and the way the music makes you feel. And to me, that is a million miles away from where dubstep started. It's a million miles away from the ethos of it. It's been influenced so much by electro and rave, into who can make the dirtiest, filthiest bass sound, almost like a pissing competition, and that's not really necessary. I find that whole side of things to be pretty frustrating, because that is a direct misrepresentation of the sound as far as I'm concerned.”

  2. AS Far as I'm concerned, since Dubstep has become more and more introduced into the public, ie: bars and house partis. More and more artists and DJ's are coming out with new sounds and genres.Their pushing the envelope as far mixing house and trance with the new age womps and low earth shaking basslines.I can appreciate some dirty beats either way.

  4. they havent been known for having DJ's, but if you've noticed they have been having them more and more based on their succes, like the HARD Tour or Dead Fame Bass. That place isn't even a quarter the size of the congress and that placed gets packed and womps HARD. Their working Dubstep and DJ's into their line ups, just let it happen.

  5. I haven't noticed that. They had dead fame bass. Before that Ruckus played there. They havent had another DJ night since dead fame. I agree that it's fucking awesome because the sound is amazing in there and the acoustics are great ( Unlike the congress. fuck everything about that place) but its not a dj/dubstep place in the slightest. Check out Bass Kitchen or The Mid...
